The Olive Branch Network is a reflection of all the things I love about blockchains and smart contract technologies bundled into one project.

I always gravitated towards crypto projects that enabled users to earn crypto via mining or staking, so I decided to create a staking token. I never understood why some staking protocols took such a large portion of the newly minted tokens. I felt like, instead of directing a large portion to the protocol’s treasury like some other staking protocols, wouldn’t it be nice if those funds actually went to those who really need it?

That’s when the idea hit me: it would be awesome to route it to a group of nonprofits instead, where users select which nonprofit is receiving a share of their newly minted tokens.

This is the initial idea that sparked the Olive Branch Network into existence. Many other ideas followed. Many other ideas remain.

I am no one special. I don’t have a big name or the many accolades that most people look for when investing. I like helping out in whatever ways I can. I might be delusional, but I believe that if the Olive Branch Network thrives, then we will see a blockchain that generates positive impact unlike anything humanity has ever experienced.
