Who am I?

I feel like my calling is to help people. I am currently cardiac cath lab technologist. What that involves is assisting physicians in procedures relating to the heart. Before that I was a radiography teacher. I taught students the physics behind how x-rays are created and how they interact with matter. Before that I took x-rays. All my life has been revolved around helping people and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I have been around computers since I was a little kid. My dad briefly owned a computer shop so computers were everywhere. I dabbled on Silk Road when I was in my early college days and that’s what introduced me to Bitcoin. I had no idea what it was, but it let me buy “goods” on Silk Road ;) Anyways, I paid no attention to the price until it hit like 8k. Ever since then I’ve been balls deep into crypto. I did and tried almost everything… From mining bitcoin and investing in ICOs to losing everything in leverage trading…

I never dreamed of creating my own blockchain, but with the invention of AI it made something that seemed impossible - possible. I contemplated for days about how to make it unique and serve an actual purpose beyond speculation. Something I believed in. I spent months building and battle testing it, which lead me to the creation of something I’m really proud of.

The Olive Branch Network is my dream blockchain. I always gravitated towards crypto projects that enabled users to earn crypto via mining or staking, so I decided to create a staking token. I never understood why some staking protocols took such a large portion of the newly minted tokens. I felt like instead of directing a large portion to the protocols treasury like some other staking protocols - wouldn’t be nice if those funds actually went to those who really need it? That’s when I idea hit me: it would be awesome to route it to a group of nonprofits instead, where users select which nonprofit is receiving a share of their newly minted tokens.

This is the initial idea that sparked the Olive Branch Network into existence. Many other ideas followed. Many other ideas remain.

I am no one special. I don’t have a big name or the many accolades that most people look for when investing. What I am is dedicated to helping people. I might be delusional, but I believe that if the Olive Branch Network thrives then we will see a blockchain that would generate positive impact unlike anything humanity has ever experienced.
