Whether you're here to grow your tokens, support a cause, or both — this guide will walk you through everything you need to know to start using OBN.

🔗 What is OBN?

OBN is a decentralized staking protocol that lets you:

  • Stake OBN tokens into pools tied to real nonprofit organizations

  • Earn staking rewards

  • Automatically contribute a portion of those rewards to a cause you believe in

No middlemen. No centralized control. Just pure, transparent impact — built on Base.

🔄 Step 1: Bridge ETH to Base (Required for Gas)

To interact with the OBN dApp (staking, claiming, minting NFTs, etc.), you’ll need a small amount of ETH on Base to cover gas fees.

Option 1: Superbridge (Recommended)

  • Go to https://superbridge.app/base

  • Connect your Ethereum wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.)

  • Select the amount of ETH to bridge from Ethereum Mainnet → Base

  • Confirm the transaction (Mainnet gas fee required)

  • Wait ~5–10 minutes for confirmation

Option 2: Third-Party Bridges (Faster/Less Gas)
Trusted alternatives include: Orbiter Finance, Synapse Protocol, Layerswap.
These may offer faster transactions or lower fees depending on congestion.

💡 Tip: You don’t need much — $1–$5 worth of ETH on Base is usually enough to stake, claim, and mint.

🧭 Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

To stake, you’ll need OBN tokens in your wallet. You can:

  • Complete airdrop missions

  • Buy on a DEX (Uniswap) or other available exchanges

  • Receive OBN from another user

🏦 Step 4: Choose a Charity Pool

Each staking pool supports a specific nonprofit or charitable cause. Browse the available pools to find one that aligns with your values.

You’ll see:

  • Pool name, logo, and mission

  • Charity wallet address

📥 Step 5: Stake Your OBN

  • Click on the pool you want to support

  • Enter the amount of OBN you’d like to stake

  • Click Stake

  • Approve the transaction in your wallet (gas fee in ETH required)

Once confirmed, your tokens are locked in the pool and rewards begin accruing immediately.

🎁 Step 6: Earn & Contribute Automatically

Every second, your stake earns rewards.

When you claim or withdraw, the split is:

  • 88% → You (the staker)

  • 10% → Charity pool

  • 1% → Charity fund

  • 1% → Treasury
